JCA is opening its third adult club for people in the early stages of diagnosed memory loss. Participants enjoy activities, camaraderie and coping skills, including cognitive and physical programs, morning coffee and lunch in a supportive environment among peers.
The new location, which is set to open Nov, 14, is the Edward N. and Della L. Thome Social Day Club at Germantown Community Center (or TKC@GCC) at 18905 Kingsview Rd, Germantown, MD 20874.
Club days are Mondays and Thursdays from 10 to 2.

The Kensington Club also meets at the Ann L. Bronfman Center, 12320 Parklawn Drive in Rockville and at Ingleside at King Farm, 701 King Farm Blvd, Rockville.
Closed for weather
Due to frigid temperatures and icy conditions, Kensington Clubs and Kesher Cafe will be closed for in-person programming for the remainder of this week, January 22, 23, and 24. Programs will be held virtually on Zoom. All KC and Kesher Cafe members are invited to participate and can find the Zoom link in their email.
