JCA launched a VillageRides video ad campaign on Thanksgiving to highlight our community organizations who are providing volunteer rides for seniors. The goal of the ad is to recruit new volunteers.
This summer, in response to the pandemic, JCA provided customized face masks for more than 300 volunteer drivers so that they could safely hep seniors who no longer drive. These masks are sported by some of our volunteers featured in the ad.
Watch the Montgomery County version here – the Prince George’s version varies only at the end. The ad is on national cable channels and will be streamed to video services including ROKU, Hulu, Firesticks and OnDemand programs as well as various websites. It will run through mid-February 2021 in select zip codes in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in Maryland where the Village Rides program is available.
