If you are age 50 or older and looking for employment opportunities, JCA’s free Virtual Employment Expos are for you. Join us for workshops designed to help you during your job search and to hear from area employers who are age-friendly and hiring.
The Montgomery County and Northern Virginia Expos are held virtually (on Zoom) as interactive, online events. Each year nine Employment Expos with age-friendly employers are offered between September and June:
Age 50+ jobseekers, regardless of location, are welcome to attend all the Expos. Registration is required and free. Dates are listed below and on the registration website.
All the Expos are scheduled to run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with the possibility of extending the end time to accommodate additional participating employers. Registration opens six weeks before the Expo date.

Helen Burns, Community Engagement Manager at Naborforce, is a Virtual 50+ Employment Expo Employer. Naborforce has hired several Expo participants (Jobseekers age 50 or better). Although they are a national organization, locally, they have locations in Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. Naborforce is an age-friendly hiring organization.
Reed Scarce is a former Virtual 50+ Employment Expo participant (Jobseeker). After attending an Expo, Robert applied at Naborforce and was hired by them.
