JCA is excited to announce that Louis Gossett Jr., best known for his Academy Award winning roles as Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley in the 1982 film An Officer and a Gentleman and Fiddler in the 1977 ABC television miniseries Roots, will receive the Productive Aging Award at our 26th annual Sylvia Blajwas Productive Aging Dinner on Sunday, June 2.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, Rockville and features a silent auction of gift cards to sporting events and restaurants, art work and jewelry and other great items.

Due to frigid temperatures and icy conditions, Kensington Clubs and Kesher Cafe will be closed for in-person programming for the remainder of this week, January 22, 23, and 24.
