Barbara Etkind

Barbara Etkind is a member of JCA Class of 2023 board of directors. She is married to Rabbi Jack Luxemburg and lives in North Potomac. She is a former partner with Troutman Sanders, LLP, assistant to Solicitor General, U.S. Department of Justice, and clerk to Judge George C. Edwards of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.

She is a member of the boards at Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, D.C. Prisoners’ Legal Rights Project, and the National Capital American Civil Rights Union.
