The Jewish Council for the Aging(R) Gorlitz Kensington Clubs has a new location. In collaboration with Montgomery County Recreation, JCA will now serve the needs of adults with early stage of diagnosed memory loss as well as provide care partner respite at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center in Silver Spring.
Our social day club will meet on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning December 10.
The JCA Gorlitz Kensington Club@Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Forest Glen Road, Silver Spring, MD. 20901, is JCA’s newest club. Members must be able to move independently (or with a cane), eat and use the bathroom independently, be without risk of wandering, acknowledge their diagnosis and take medication with a verbal reminder.
